Viral Video: Miss Kohima Runner-Up Asks Modi To Focus More On Women Instead Of Cows

A Nagaland model’s Q&A round’s reply asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to focus more on women rather than cows has gone viral in the social media platforms. The video which was uploaded on the microblogging site Twitter some 13 hours ago till the filing of this news has garnered over 54,000 views in a single day.

The 18-year Vikuonuo Sachu from Model Higher Secondary School had participated for the crown of Miss Kohima 2019 title and bagged the second runner up title. The model instantly became the talk of the internet after a video of her Q&A round of the beauty pageant went viral on social media leaving several in splits.

In the video, one of the jury members’ is heard asking the beautiful model what would she ask the Prime Minister if given a chance to chat with him. To this, she replied, “If I were invited by the PM of India, I would tell him to focus more on women instead of cows,”.

Her hilarious and daring reply among the twelve contestants who vied for Miss Kohima 2019 crown, left the audience and the jury with laughter and applause. The beauty pageant was held on October 5th, 2019, and a 26-second video has been doing rounds in the media at present.


The All India Mahila Congress also shared the viral video while launching a scathing attack on PM Modi on the microblogging site Twitter.

Under the theme, “Educate a Girl, Empower a Society,” the Miss Kohima 2019 Beauty Pageant was organized by Agathos Society at RCEMPA, Jotsoma. While Khrienuo Liezietsu won the title of Miss Kohima 2019, 19-year old Khrielievinuo Suohu from Kros College Kohima settled with the Ist runner-up.
