SSA Mission Director Gives Nod To Demands Of TET Teachers

TET teachers will get remuneration with new grade pay


The prolonged agitation demanding various facilities by the All Assam Primary TET-Qualified Teachers’ Association came to an end after the assurance of the Mission Director, Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission on October 31st, 2019

The association today called on the Mission Director Shamsher Singh regarding the long pending demands of the association.

Speaking to Time8, the association said, “The Mission Director has assured us of fulfilling the demands of the association within December 2019.”

The association leaders informed that the MD has assured to increase grade pay from Rs 6500 to Rs 7400, allow maternal leave for the lady teachers, release of increased Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowances including others.

The MD has also assured that the families of the deceased teacher will receive a one-time aid of Rs 10 lakh.
