Royal Global School Celebrates 71st Republic Day With High Fervour

Along with the rest of the country, the Royal Global School in Guwahati observed the 71st Republic Day with high spirits and patriotic fervour. From unfurling the national flag, performing the R-day parade to organising cultural programmes the students, invited guests had a gala day.

Retd. Wing Commander Jagdish Bhattacharya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and he was felicitated by the Head of School, Anubha Goyal. The crowd stood in unison as the National Anthem reverberated across the premises.

Addressing the gathering, Anubha Goyal heartily welcomed the crowd and said ‘the need of the hour is to accept and respect each other’s differences. It is only then the nation can move forward towards brighter horizons and touch zeniths of glory.’

The gathering was relived with some iconic speeches of National leaders who helped shape the nation become an embodiment of sovereignty. This was followed by a graceful dance performance showcasing the rich legacy of India’s diverse culture

Retd. Wing Commander Bhattacharya in his address reminded the duty of citizens especially the youth towards saving the environment and urged the likeminded youth to join the defence forces and serve the country for the greater good.
