The main wall of the old jail complex in Fancy Bazar, Guwahati collapsed during the sudden storm that struck the city on Wednesday.

A video shows that the wall collapsed on the inner side of the complex but the amount of damage to any property is yet to the claimed.

On normal days, the area is usually crowded but since the country in a lockdown situation due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the risk of any human casualties or injuries have been eradicated to a great extend.
