The All Assam Students’ Union general secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi on January 19th, 2020, raised questions about Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s degrees.
Speaking to the media persons, Gogoi said, “In the affidavit filed in 2006, he mentioned that he pursued MA in Political Science and LLB in 1994 while in the affidavit filed in 2016, he mentioned that he pursued MA in 1994 and LLB in 1995. This is very confusing.”
