Meghalaya is all set to host the North East Food Show (NEFS) from December 4^th-6^th, 2019 that will show the potential of the diverse agri-horti products of the state and other states of Northeast.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma took to Twitter and wrote, “The #NorthEastFoodShow through a partnership with @sialindia will showcase the potential of our diverse Agri-Horti products of #Meghalaya and the #Northeast and foster a conducive business environment with buyers and sellers from the global market.”

The Meghalaya government has partnered with SIAL, the world’s largest food innovation exhibition to conduct the North East Food Show at Polo Grounds, Shillong. It will be the first and biggest Food Innovation Exhibition in the North East.

What can you expect from the NEFS?

• The food show is focused on creating a global platform to inspire food business in the North East.
• It is dedicated to B2B platform that is aimed at the marrying the best of North East with the best of food and food processing industries.
• NEFS will link producers directly to the end consumers like restaurants, hotels, processing companies, wholesalers, traders, etc.
• The event will have the strong presence of food processing businesses from all the North-Eastern states and their respective governments as well as national and international exhibitors.
