Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on January 8^th, 2020, said that nobody can stop him from doing his duty for the nation.

Addressing a peace rally at Upper Assam’s Dhemaji, Sonowal said, “Cheap politics cannot win the hearts of people nor bring development. As a son of this soil, I am doing my duty for the nation and no one can stop me from doing that.”

The CM further said, “It’s a walk for peace, it’s a walk for progress. We walk amongst the masses, with the masses, shoulder to shoulder reiterating that the indigenous people of Assam will forever remain the destiny makers of our state.”
