A “depressed” woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Forest Gate area of Noonmati in Guwahati on November 14th, 2019. The incident occurred at around 9:30 am.

The deceased Sewali Deuri was suffering from cancer. The locals alleged that Sewali was undergoing treatment for a long time.

The locals claimed that she jumped off the two-storeyed building and died on the spot. As per information available, she was working with the state health department.
