
Hailing the Supreme Court ruling on the Ayodhya title dispute case, Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said appealed to people to maintain peace and order.
Sarma took to Twitter and wrote,” I appeal to people of all religions to honour the verdict and maintain peace and harmony. We remain committed to the ideals of India.”
The Supreme Court has delivered the much-awaited verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case on November 9th, 2019. The top court ordered that the Central Govt within three-four months formulate a scheme for setting up of trust and hand over the disputed site to it for construction of a temple at the site.
A suitable plot of land measuring 5 acres to be handed over to Sunni Waqf Board either by Central government or state government construct a mosque at the allotted land, the Supreme Court ordered.
