Hillarious trolls, memes and jokes are doing the rounds on the social media after Bhartiya Janata Party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said that some of the labourers carrying out construction work at his house were likely to be Bangladeshis as they ate only flattened rice poha (flattened rice).
This statement made by Vijayvargiya has garnered hilarious trolls and mixed reaction by the tweeple around the country.
Addressing a pro-Citizenship Amendment Act event in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, the 63-year-old BJP leader said that when a new room was being added to his house, he found the “eating habits” of some of the workers extremely “strange” as they were eating only poha.
“I suspected these workers were residents of Bangladesh. Two days after I became suspicious, they stopped working at my house,” said Vijayvargiya.
The statement of the BJP leader kick-started meme fest on the micro-blogging site as people shared photos of poha with funny captions.
Poha is a very popular breakfast dish and origin can be traced to Maharashtra. It is cheap and filling.
