Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who attributed the signing of the Bodo Accord to the people’s support, on February 7th, 2020, announced a special development package of Rs 1500 crore.
The PM also announced that a commission will be formed to fix the boundary of the areas falling under the Bodoland Territorial Autonomous Districts (BTAD).

He also expressed confidence that the Bodo Territorial Council will now develop a new model of development. “The BTC, the state government and the Centre will now, together, give a new dimension to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Biswas.
