Tension prevails at Dhekiajuli in Assam’s Sonitpur district after some unidentified miscreants looted a man by firing in blank in the evening hours of October 13th, 2019.
The victim has been identified as Dharmchand Pandiya.
As per information, some motorcycle-borne men resorted firing in the blank and then attacked Pandiya with brick and sticks and looted the cash amount he had.
Police, who rushed to the incident spot, recovered a blank cartridge and started an investigation. However, no one has been arrested till the report is being filed.
The injured person has been admitted to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.
