    LIVE: Historic Ayodhya Verdict Updates

    The verdict will be pronounced by a bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi

    Drawing curtains on the Ayodhya case, the Supreme Court has delivered the much-awaited verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case on November 9th, 2019.

    The apex court ordered that the Central Govt within three-four months formulate a scheme for setting up of trust and hand over the disputed site to it for construction of a temple at the site. On the other hand, a suitable plot of land measuring 5 acres to be handed over to Sunni Waqf Board either by the Central government or state government construct a mosque at the allotted land, the Supreme Court ordered. 

    The verdict of the historic Ayodhya case was announced at 10.30 am on November 9th, 2019. The verdict was pronounced by a bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi comprising Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and SA Nazeer.
