The Yash Raj Films(YRF) is one of the leading production houses of Bollywood. And in a matter of great pride, Assam singer Ritrisha Sarmah has lent her voice under the banner of YRF.
Ritrisha, who rose to fame with her melodious tracks and as Assam heartthrob Zubeen Garg’s co-singer, recently recorded a popular track from the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial movie ‘Black’.
The singer shared the track on her Facebook profile on October 18th, 2019 and congratulatory messages started pouring in from all quarters.

She lent her soulful voice for the reprised version of the iconic song, “Haan Maine Chukar Dekha Hai” originally sung by Gayatri Iyer. The song was recorded in Mumbai under the direction of award-winning Bollywood music director, Monty Sharma.
The singer took to Facebook to reminisce about her obsession with the song and shared that how years later after following her passion ended up meeting award-winning music composer Monty Sharma in Mumbai and got a chance to sing the hit track.
“Some years back, I fell in love with a song from the film ‘Black’ and tried to sing it because of my obsession for the song. Thus I started following Monty Sharma Ji for his magical music in the movie and after years, it so happened that I met this amazing person in Mumbai and now I am singing the reprised version of the same song that I was obsessed with once, Haan Maine Chukar Dekha Hai.. This is really amazing.. All thanks to Monty Sharma Ji and YRF for believing in me and making this happen,” (sic) she wrote.
The song is made available in music apps including Jio Saavan, Gaana, Spotify and Geo Music.
