The Northeastern region of the country may face heavy to very heavy rainfall from July 25^th to 30^th, 2019, the Indian Meteorological Department, Borjhar said on July 24^th, 2019.

As per the IMD bulletin, Assam may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall July 25^th, 26^th, 28^th and 29^th, 2019, while Arunachal Pradesh may face heavy rainfall on July 25^th, 26^th and 29^th, 2019.

IMD has also issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall over Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the period.

It may be mentioned that the Northeast has been affected by the season’s first flood. The ravaging deluge had engulfed maximum part of the state leaving over 57 lakh people marooned.
