The Northeastern region of the country may face heavy to very heavy rainfall from July 25th to 30th, 2019, the Indian Meteorological Department, Borjhar said on July 24th, 2019.
As per the IMD bulletin, Assam may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall July 25th, 26th, 28th and 29th, 2019, while Arunachal Pradesh may face heavy rainfall on July 25th, 26th and 29th, 2019.
IMD has also issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall over Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the period.
It may be mentioned that the Northeast has been affected by the season’s first flood. The ravaging deluge had engulfed maximum part of the state leaving over 57 lakh people marooned.
