A girl was killed in the late evening hours of November 2nd, 2019 after a speeding Bolero pick-up vehicle rammed into an e-rickshaw and a two-wheeler bearing registration no AS01BE2067 near Games Village in Guwahati.

The girl identified as Sweety Nato who was riding the scooty died on the spot. She was a resident of Jayanagar. The pillion rider– Ganga Devi sustained serious injuries and has been admitted at the Health City Hospital, located in Khanapara.

The driver of the unregistered bolero pick-up Ajit Singh has been arrested by the Basistha police. He was nabbed from the Nalapara area.
