Body of a former United Liberation Front of Assam, Independent (ULFA-I) cadre was found under mysterious circumstances in Assam’s Majuli district on October 19th, 2019.

The body of Ratul Bora (37) alias Putul was found near Duptoli Pathar. He was a resident of Bali Chapori. It has been claimed that Bora’s death is a pre-planned murder. Moreover, cut marks have been found in his body.

As per information available, Bora gave up arms three years ago. His name was found involved in several murder cases of businessmen in the state. He went missing since October 17th, 2019. One of Bora’s cousin spotted the body on October 19th, 2019 and informed police.

The body has been sent to Garamur Pitambar Dev Civil Hospital for post mortem.
