Criminal complaints have been registered against all the Airlines operating in India by one Suresh Chandra Verma of Dibrugarh for not refunding the ticket fare collected for the flights not availed by passengers.

As per the complaint, the Airlines operating in India are not refunding the GST and tax amount to the passengers who have not availed the flight or the flights have been cancelled.

Verma has also alleged Indigo Airlines of charging Rs 50 for printing tickets at the airport counter without issuing any receipt which is resulting in total GST amount fraud.

The FIR also states that the ongoing scam is more than it looks like and it is more than Rs 1000 crores. The Dibrugarh police station has registered the FIR under case no. 1849/19 u/s 420/406 IPC.
