Dibrugarh Airport Bags First Prize In I-Day Decoration In India

Bihar's Gaya airport won the second prize. Mysore & Bhopal airports jointly won the third prize in Category III segment

Dibrugarh Airport located in the Tea City of Assam has bagged the first prize in the competition held for the best-decorated airport in category-III for its extraordinary decoration on the occasion of India’s 73rd Independence Day.

The airport, located in Mohanbari at a distance about 15 km North-East from Dibrugarh Town achieved the top position in Category III for its exceptional aviation theme, beautiful rangoli design and impressive lighting of the terminal building.

On the other hand, Trivandrum airport bagged the first prize in Category I segment while Vadodara airport was the winner of Category II segment.

Bihar’s Gaya airport won the second prize. Mysore & Bhopal airports jointly won the third prize in Category III segment.
