
Cases of COVID-19 in Assam seems to be rising as on Saturday the number of total cases now touch 266 with 205 active cases.
On Saturday morning, seven new cases were detected in Assam out of which six were from Hojai and one from Dhubri. All these persons were lodged in quarantine centres after coming from several locations of the state.
As of Saturday, the total cases reported are 266 with active cases touching 205 and four confirmed death.
Assam reported its 100th case on May 17 and in just 6 days the toll in the total cases rose by 166 numbers to 266.
However, most of these cases belong to people who came to the state from outside.
