The officer-in-charge of Agia Police Station and three constables sustained severe injuries after being attacked by gamblers at Balbala in Assam’s Goalpara district on October 28th, 2019 at around 4:30 pm.
As per information, a police team led by OC Umacharan Rai went to nab some gamblers on being informed where the gamblers pelted stones at them. The gamblers also damaged the police vehicle.
The other injured cops are Rafiqul Khan, Guneswar Deka and Prasent Nath Medhi. They were rushed Goalpara Civil Hospital for medical assistance.
