A case has been registered against three railway police personnel for allegedly looting a passenger at Guwahati Railway Station.
According to the complainant, Suresh Kumar, a 3-member team of the GRP were conducting a search operation at the coaches of Rajdhani Express when they recovered 1 kg, 10 grams of gold.
Kumar informed that although the police took custody of the gold to register a police case they eventually “disappeared”.
A case 24/2020 has been registered with the police here.
The incident took place on the night of January 17th, 2020.
