In a sensational incident, a girl student was stabbed to death on August 27th, 2019 in Dalgaon. The body was recovered by the locals in a poll of blood by the side of a road.

The bleeding girl was rushed to the Mangaldoi Civil Hospital but was declared ‘brought dead’. The deceased was a student of the Mangaldoi Higher Secondary School. The locals alleged that the girl was returning home after attending the College Freshers programme when she was attacked.
