    China Lifts 76-Day Lockdown On Wuhan. Top 10 Points

    Wuhan over the past few weeks have reported almost zero new “local infections”

    China has opened up the borders and ended the lockdown in Wuhan after 76 days but has still imposed certain restrictions.

    Wuhan was the epicentre of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and it was sealed off on January 23 restricting all sorts of movements to and from the city.

    The city of 11 million witnessed the COVID-19 outbreak first in December officially and since then it saw a massive outbreak spreading throughout the world.

    As of Wednesday, the COVID-19 positive cases have reached over 1.4 million worldwide and deaths tallying up to 82,133.

    Among these, the confirmed cases were the highest United States of America with 4,01,608 with almost 12,000 deaths

    1. Wuhan was among the worst-hit places in China will more than 50000 confirmed infections and almost 2500 deaths.
    2. As per China’s National Health Commission, 77 per cent of the deaths in the country took place in Wuhan.

    4. As per some reports, an estimated of 55000 people will be leaving by train from Wuhan on Wednesday

    8. The worst-hit area of the US is New York with 142,384 cases and 5,489 deaths
    9. Spain stands at 1,41,942 confirmed cases and 14,045 confirmed deaths
    10. Italy 1,35,586 and with the highest number of international deaths with 17,127 till date
