The Panikahiti police on January 8th, 2020 arrested a woman on charges of plotting her husband’s murder. The incident took place at a remote village in Panikhaiti, located in south banks of the Brahmaputra.

As per initial reports, the accused woman first allegedly murdered her husband. She allegedly tied his head with a rope to the ceiling giving it a suicide angle.

The police are yet to give details about the case.
