In an incident, a Sukhoi MKI 30 aeroplane crashed in Assam’s Tezpur on August 8th, 2019. The incident happened nearby Saikia Suburi in Tezpur. One of the pilots sustained injuries in the incident. As per information, the injured pilot has been admitted to the nearby hospital for medical assistance. The Air Force plane reportedly took off from Tezpur Airport.

As per information, three fire tenders rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. No official statement has been issued so far. Fear psychosis griped after the incident. More details are awaited.
