Opening Of Raha Toll Gate Called Off

The Raha toll gate will not be re-opened on January 10th, 2020. Earlier, the officials of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) have informed that all toll plazas located across Assam will reopen on January 10th, 2020.

As per information available, the toll gate was attacked and vandalised by protesters during the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act movement in the state in December last year.

Sources informed that the toll gate might become operational only after Magh Bihu.

The other toll plazas– Mikrati Hawagaon Daboka-Nagaon on NH-36, Dahalpara on NH 31, Pathgaon on NH 31, Nazirakhat on NH 37 and Madanpur toll gate on NH 31 are slated to reopen on January 10th, 2020.
