The Assam government has made a reshuffle in the state police department. This is the fourth reshuffle in the department in the last 40 days.

Karbi Anglong Superintendent of Police (SP), Gaurav Upadhyay has been transferred and attached to Asam Police headquarters. Debojit Deuri, SP Sadiya has been transferred and posted as the new Karbi Anglong SP.

On the other hand, Leen Doley, SP (CID), Guwahati has been transferred as the SP, Special Branch (EZ), Jorhat camp. Bhanwar Lal Meena, SP, Special Branch (Establishment), Kahilipara, has been transferred and posted as Sadiya SP.

Meanwhile, VVR Reddy, SP, Special Branch (EZ), Jorhat has been transferred and posted as SP (CID), Guwahati. Ratna Singha, SP, Special Branch (Z), Kahilipara has been transferred and posted as SP, Special Branch (E), Kahilipara.
