The Assam Government mulling to impose the night curfew in Assam from 6 PM to 6 AM instead of 7 PM to 7 AM during the lockdown due to the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a press briefing said that the government might impose the curfew from 6 PM to 6 AM adding that the government will also allow inter-state travel for the stranded persons in the state but it cannot be carried after 7 pm.

He added that many other relaxations may also be there in the third phase of the lockdown.
