Jayanta Malla Baruah said that the Assam government has made no decision yet to sign up any B-town celebrity to promote the domestic tourism sector

The Assam government will use the ad contents shot with the Bollywood diva and global icon Priyanka Chopra for another year, this was informed by Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) chairman, Jayanta Malla Baruah.

Addressing the newsmen here on August 16th, 2019, Baruah informed that the government has bought the media rights to use the contents keeping in view of the tourism sector in Assam. Last month, Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had tweeted that agreement with Priyanka to promote tourism had expired.
