Ajmal Contests Elections With Himanta’s Money: MP Abdul Khaleque

Member of Parliament and former legislator of Jania Legislative Assembly Constituency(LAC), Abdul Khaleque fired a salvo at the All India United Democratic Front(AIUDF) Chief, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal and State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on October 21st, 2019.

“Ajmal contests each and every election with Himanta’s money. He is dependant on Himanta. Ajmal acts as per Himanta’s commands,” Khaleque claimed while speaking to media in Jania.

“Ajmal didn’t field any candidate in Ratabari for the Assam Assembly by-elections as per Himanta’s command,” Khaleque further claimed after casting his vote as by-election was underway. The Congress MP further sais that many of the AIUDF leaders are planning to join Congress.

Assam went to voting on October 21st, 2019 for four LACs. The bypolls were necessitated with two sitting BJP MLAs and ministers Pallab Lochan Das (Rangapara) and Tapan Gogoi (Sonari), Deputy Speaker Kripanath Mallah (Ratabari) and Congress MLA Khaleque (Jania) elected to the Lok Sabha.
