Actor Rana Daggubati’s Upcoming Film Is Inspired By Encroachment Of Kaziranga

The tri-lingual movie has been shot in two countries, four forest locations


Actor Rana Daggubati who is presently busy in the promotions of his upcoming trilingual movie ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ aka ‘Aranya’ is all set to hit the theatres on April 2nd, 2020.

The movie’s storyline is basically a call for saving the wild and is inspired by the encroachment of elephant migration corridors at the World Heritage Site–Kaziranga National Park(KNP) and the consequences thereafter.

The trilingual movie has been shot in two countries, four forest locations– Kerala, Mahabaleshwar, Mumbai in India, and another in Thailand. The movie has been shot in 250 days involving 145 casts and crew.

Rana is in the lead role in all the three versions of the movie. While the actress in all three titles is Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain.

He will be seen in a never seen before avatar playing the role of a man living in the jungles with the sole purpose of protecting wild animals. He recently shared about his body transformation for the movie and how he spent time in the jungles to play the character.
