    Patient’s Attendants Vandalize Hospital In Sualkuchi

    The irked attendants damaged the hospital property including glass windows, furniture

    Sensation triggered in Sualkuchi following the death of a patient at the Mahatma Gandhi 30 Bedded Rural Hospital (FRU). Alleging medical negligence, the attendants of the deceased patient vandalized the hospital on the night of August 20th, 2019.

    Irked attendants created a ruckus at the Sualkuchi FRU, damaged the hospital property including glass windows, furniture. The attendants claimed that the patient, Sashadhar Das was not assigned any doctor even after several hours of admission.

    “Let alone doctors, not a single nurse came to take check upon the patient’s health. The on-duty doctor, Minakshi Gogoi was present at the hospital but was sleeping. We had to wait more than an hour looking for doctors,” alleged the patient’s attendant.
