A total of six unidentified miscreants kidnapped a youth from Veterinary campus in Khanapara and attacked him on the intervening night of October 29th, 2019.
The victim has been identified as Sunil Yadav and he was an employee of Pallavi Motors Private Limited located in Jaya Nagar, Khanapara.
A local said, “At around 1 am, the miscreants with masks on their face barged into the rented house of Sunil and took him in a Maruti van towards Sonapur. On the way, he was beaten by rods on his legs and later dropped him at the gate of his residence at around 3:30 am.”
“He had somehow managed to enter his home and today morning, I heard him calling for someone when I was walking towards my home. I immediately rushed inside and saw that he was unable to move. I along with some other locals rushed him to the ESIC Model Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment,” added another local.
The locals further added they have filed a complaint in the Dispur Police Station and they have launched a massive manhunt to nab the miscreants.
